CAFA First Home-The new bond issuance has been released at a 6.47% rate
The Capital Area Finance Authority (“CAFA”) provides homebuyer assistance to qualified homebuyers to assist in purchasing homes throughout the state of Louisiana. The Assistance is in the form of tax-exempt revenue bond and can provide up to 4% of the final loan amount. You must be a First Time Homebuyer for this program unless you are in a targeted census tract or if you are a Veteran. Funds can be used towards your down payment, closing cost, prepaid items. The fixed rate Government loans is 6.47%
